Travel photo shoot around Oman, Muscat and the Nizwa Fort area. A Country situated in Southwest Asia
I had the opportunity to visit Oman https://www.worldatlas.com/as/om/where-is-oman.html which is a Country situated in Southwest Asia, bordering the Arabian Sea and that is situated between Yemen and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). This opportunity was made possible for a weekend after having attended a conference in Muscat http://www.encyclopedia.com/places/asia/arabian-peninsula-political-geography/muscat the Capital of Oman.
Was fortunate to obtain the services of a Tour Guide services and received the most pleasant person that was my guide during the weekend. The guide even paid for my lunches, water and cold drinks driving the whole weekend.
He took me to some very nice places and showed me some interesting things and told me about some of the history of each place we drove through and where we stopped.
I visited a number of places within and around Muscat, was fortunate to see the Royal Opera House https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Royal_Opera_House_Muscat, https://www.rohmuscat.org.om/en and took some photos of it from the outside. Was able to see some temples from the outside and could take a couple of photos as well.
On the Saturday I was taken on a very long trip which did not allow enough time to take phots. This was an interesting trip and saw many things.
This is a country worth visiting again but for a much longer period as there is so much to see, especially the Canyons.
