Travel Photo Shoot at and around Himeville in Kwa-Zulu Natal which is about a 6-hour’s drive from Roodepoort

This trip was done at the end of March and beginning of April 2017 over a period of 4 days. Himeville https://www.sa-venues.com/things-to-do/kwazulunatal/bysuburb/himeville/, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Himeville is situated in the Drakensberg Mountains with many lovely scenery around it, such as the mountains, lakes, dams, rivers and landscapes.

The trip down was very nice with a lot to see while travelling through the different provinces to get to the destination. However, the trip back took much longer due to all the traffic as it was the last day of a long weekend in South Africa.

This period is the most beautiful time of the years with the changing of the colour of the leaves as can be seen in some of the photos.

A number of photos were taken at Kenmo about 3 Km’s outside Himeville, also at the Himeville Dam, Castle Burn and on route to some of these places.

It was very cold and misty early in the mornings but was worth going out to take these beautiful photos. I am sure that you will agree to it.
